Rheirattack
Rheirattack is a Canadian Sport Horse stallion (CSHA), who became the first ever Canadian bred dressage stallion to be approved as a breeding stallion by the Oldenburg Verband, and is the first Canadian bred horse to be listed in the WBFSH dressage rankings. This beautiful, mahogany stallion completed his second year at the Grand Prix level scoring over 65% in front of FEI judges. He was recognized as the CSHA's dressage stallion of the year for 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Not only has Rheirattack excelled in the competitive arena, he has also been a superb producer of foals which are characterized by their gentle temperaments, excellent athletic ability, and high degree of trainability. To date, 75% of Rheirattack’s foals have been awarded Premium status.
Rheirattack is a well balanced, rhythmic and powerful stallion with a gentle temperament. His compact back and his natural ability to collect and carry weight through his hind legs allows him to excel at the most demanding dressage movements such as canter pirouette, passage, and piaffe.
Rheirattack's athletic ability is inherited from a superlative competitive pedigree. His sire, the licensed Westphalian stallion Rhodos, who was imported from Germany, was also listed for the Canadian National Dressage Team and competed at the Advanced levels until he was 19. His grand sire, Roderich, produced the German high jump record holder who cleared 2.14 metres (7 feet). His great grand sire is the foundation stallion Ramzes who founded the famous "R" line which has produced such legends as Ramiro, Remus, Rubinstein, Romadour, 
and Rembrandt. His dam, Atrix Aquavit, has produced 7 successful dressage horses including two that competed at Grand Prix. Her grand sire, Absatz, sired 40 approved stallions including Aktuell, the most influential dressage stallion from Absatz, and jumping stallions such as Argentan, Akzent I and II, Admiral, Argentinus, and World Cup Gold Medal winner Aramis
Rheirattack will continue training and competing at the Grand Prix level in Canada and the United States in 2010.
